Our decades of experience point to the optimal approach to service support being an analysis of the clients’ needs and a customized, long term program to maximize value and benefit. Here are a few common programs that can be tailored to the individual clients’ application. Beyond these, Abel Womack’s service management stands ready to customize a unique program when necessary.
The simplest path to high up-time, low maintenance costs and equipment longevity is to perform detailed, routine scheduled maintenance in timed intervals commensurate with the rigors of the application. Although scheduled maintenance is often compromised through poor technician attitudes or execution, Abel Womack is dedicated to thorough scheduled maintenance procedures that include as many as 75 different items, including lift trucks, conveyor systems and overhead equipment. Once completed, the client equipment is returned fully adjusted, lubricated, clean and ready to go.
Comprehensive Fixed Price Maintenance programs offer a fixed monthly charge for providing all scheduled maintenance and breakdown service for the client equipment, usually for 3 to 5 years, or more. This program provides the client with the absolute highest levels of response time, fixed monthly costs for budgeting purposes, and economies of scale. With a CFPM agreement, Abel Womack takes responsibility for supporting the fleet, allowing the client to concentrate on their business and core competencies.
If the fleet size warrants it, Abel Womack offers a program in which one or more of our certified technicians work full-time at the client location. This program relieves the client of the responsibility for recruiting, training and retaining their own maintenance personnel. Essentially, Abel Womacks factory trained technicians become a staff extension for the client, with Abel Womack taking responsibility for competency, attitude, replacement during sick / vacation times, communication and overall performance levels.
Through Raymond’s iWAREHOUSE web based fleet management software, Abel Womack can provide its clients with fleet management reporting covering all mission critical aspects of the equipment. Reports can be tailored for each specific situation and be based on equipment type, location, unique serial numbers, operator or pretty much any other permutation. With this information, Abel Womack’s experienced fleet management personnel will work collaboratively with the client to increase equipment utilization, reduce operating expenses, and optimize the fleet replacement process.
