Not sure if you heard the great news, Raymond is heading outdoors with two new electric forklifts perfect for outdoor applications! At Promat 2023, Raymond released the brand new 4800 and 4810 4-wheel sit down counterbalanced pneumatic indoor/outdoor forklifts. These two new all-weather lifts are good options to replace your propane, gas or diesel-powered fleet. They’re also a fantastic way to lower the overall cost of ownership for your fleet by having less maintenance and less downtime. By switching to an electric lift, you can save about 40% in maintenance costs.
Emissions-free lift trucks that don’t compromise on performance
Another advantage of switching over to an electric forklift is that the trucks are quieter and vibrate much less. The reduction in operator fatigue can improve employee morale and create a better and, possibly, safer operating environment. An added benefit is that an electric lift truck has zero emissions.
The newly released Raymond 4800 and 4810 sit down counterbalanced forklifts come standard with all-weather protection which will guard the lift truck against things like rain, moisture, and other unwanted elements. This allows the lift trucks to be used or stored outside. The forklifts also come with a wet-disc brake system that makes it ideal for use in wet areas and outdoors. Both models come equipped with Raymond’s open view mast which gives the operator a clear line of sight to enhance load visibility and travel to increase efficiency and help reduce product damage.
The performance stability system has automatic corner deceleration, active mast control and an active rear axle swing lock which helps maintain stability and minimize damage to goods and/ or facilities. Both models come with an 80-volt battery power system, treaded solid pneumatic tires and push button fork leveling controls in both directions. Multiple cabin options are available such as a fully enclosed cabin with or without doors, front and/or rear glass, or no cabin at all. They also are UL compliant.

There also is an S model which is offered in the 5,000 lbs. and 6,000 lbs. models. The S model gives you a shorter head length which provides better maneuverability in tighter spaces.
