Compact Storage Systems' Mechanical Assist Series 8 is comprised of mechanical carriages moved by a mechanical assist chain and sprocket gear box, which employs gear ratios to ease the work load, and allow users to move several thousand pounds easily. 

 

This mobility allows for compaction of the units while remaining accessible on demand.  The compaction allows for substantial savings in floor space.

 

The CMA Series 8 carriage assembly is rated for a maximum of 8,000 lbs per rack/shelf assembly.  A rack/shelf assembly is defined as two uprights (columns) and connecting beams.
