Joel Stahl Retires after 36 Years in the Material Handling Industry
Joel Stahl, Vice President of Sales in the South branch of Abel Womack, Inc., has retired after a career spanning 36 years. Abel Womack, the largest material handling company of its kind in the northeast US, honored Mr. Stahl in a retirement celebration that recognized his long and distinguished career within the Raymond Network.
Mr. Stahl was involved in all aspects of a Raymond Dealership from salesman to president and all stops in between. He experienced the growth and positive changes of The Raymond Corporation, the marketplace and various dealerships, especially Abel Womack.
“…The most interesting part of my journey has been the people; too many individuals to mention including salesmen, customers, managers and support personnel. It has been a long, interesting and fulfilling journey and I’m ready for the next phase of my life.” said Joel.
“Joel is physically a little guy with the heart of a lion”, said John Croce, President of Abel Womack. “He is smart, savvy and fearless, and someone I grew to respect and love. Joel’s nickname of Yoda is well suited to him; he is definitely a guy I’d want in my foxhole.”
